MLB Collective Bargaining Agreement......our new headache

MLB's Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Player's Association expired on December 1st. This is pretty much what handles all the money generated by MLB between them and the players. So MLB and the players have been negotiating for awhile now to sign a new CBA and they have not done that yet, so the MLB owners have locked out the players until a new agreement is reached.

Well, that puts a big hold on our plans......well hopefully not! They still have time to reach a new agreement between now and when Spring Training starts in mid-February. So with that said, we will continue planning our first adventure and getting ready to head to Spring Training in March with the big stadium tour starting on April 4th.

Our tour schedule....starting in Washington DC. We want to see a few games of the Nationals during their 2022 opening home series from 4/4 to 4/7. After seeing the Nationals we will be off to see the following:

Baltimore Orioles vs. Milwaukee Brewers 4/11

Philadelphia Phillies vs. NY Mets 4/12

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays 4/13 or 14

New York Mets vs. Arizona Diamondbacks 4/15 or 16

Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins 4/17 or 18

Atlanta Braves vs. Chicago Cubs 4/26 or 27

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Minnesota Twins 5/1

Miami Marlins vs. Arizona Diamondbacks 5/3

St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants 5/14 or 15

Texas Rangers vs. Los Angeles Angels 5/17 or 18

Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers 5/20

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Los Angeles Dodgers 5/26

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Mets 6/3

San Diego Padres vs. New York Mets 6/6

Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox 6/8

San Francisco Giants vs. Kansas City Royals 6/14 or 15

Oakland A's vs. Kansas City Royals 6/17 or 18

Seattle Mariners vs. Baltimore Orioles 6/27

Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks 7/1 or 2

Kansas City Royals vs. Cleveland Guardians 7/8 or 9

Minnesota Twins vs. Milwaukee Brewers 7/12 or 13

Chicago Cubs vs. New York Mets 7/14 or 15

Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Guardians 7/22 or 23

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Colorado Rockies 7/24 or 25

Cincinnati Reds vs. Baltimore Orioles 7/29 or 30

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Milwaukee Brewers 8/2 or 3

Cleveland Guardians vs. Houston Astros 8/4 or 5

Detroit Tigers vs. Cleveland Guardians 8/9 or 10

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Cleveland Guardians 8/12

Washington Nationals vs. Chicago Cubs 8/16 or 17

There it is....there is our schedule.....Obviously we see every team at least once but there are a few teams that we see quite a few times. The NY Mets and Cleveland Guardians we see 5 times each and then we see the Arizona Diamondbacks and Milwaukee Brewers 4 times each. Also along with all the games we do have other stops that we will be making. Some of them will be baseball related like the Louisville Slugger Museum, Field of Dreams, the Baseball Hall of Fame, and then some will be non-baseball related, like Key West, Tombstone, the Grand Canyon, plus many more.

Stay tuned for more to come.
